WARNING! DETECTING POST!

Went detecting in the neighbor's pasture today for about an hour. He had shown me the very faint remnants of an old road that ran through his pasture, through the back of my land, and in the woods. There was a line of huge old cedar trees that the road ran alongside. Some of these cedar trees were almost 3 feet in diameter. Within a few minutes, I found a smaller hand forged hoe head; a few minutes later, and old well-worn ax head and a few bullets. Then I got a good tight signal, and dug this dirt encased coin shaped object... hmmm, this looks interesting. Not wanting to rub the dirt off, I waited until I got home to wash it off. It was a George Washington birth date commemorative, 1732 - 1932. The back says "Founder of the Republic, father of the Fatherland / Virginia's Greatest Son".
