I received a phone call today from someone with a foreign accent. They said that I had won a $500.00 certificate to spend at Wal-Mart. Before he could say anything else, I quickly told him that I wasn't interested and hung up! I had received these temptations at my old email address but never gave them the information they wanted.....a form to fill out with lots of info! I know this person would have wanted me to give my name, address, SS# to report my winnings to IRS, and you name it! This would be a good way to commit identity fraud against me and whoever they can fool.....SO BE AWARE, as there is no free lunch! If Wal-Mart wants to give me $500, they already have all the info they need to give it to me when I shop at their store where I spend too much money on Meds and merchandise!

No yard work again today....toooo hot and therefore no detecting either, but rains supposed to come with hopefully lots of moisture for the ground!

I have had several attempts made for me to update info on my eBay account. They ask a lot of personal questions, and I have never had an eBay account. Go figure.

and I try to be very careful even about mailing bills in my mailbox....Too many dishonest people for sure and getting worse as evil is committed more and more!
