Warm Weather = Excalibur Time

Well, yesterday's forecast was for 70+ temps here in NJ, and I had an early appointment with a client down the shore, so I took advantage and roused the Excal out of its hibernation.

The shorecast was a bit different than the forecast, with cool temps and high winds, which made it nearly impossible to hear targets. I only stayed a short time, as the beaches are sanded in with no targets below the high tide line. I worked the dry sand, digging some clad and an encrusted Wheatie, but then I called it a day. On the way back to the car I got a nice high tone which turned out to be the silver marcasite ring.

The Shore is always a welcome change from my Fall/Winter woods and fields!

Nice silver ring! Crazy weather for this time of year. I live in CT and near 70 on Thursday.I went out on my lunch break and was dreaming of detecting. Glad you were able to get out - Jim
