Well after many year's of not finding a war nickel, I found two today , within a few hours of each other. 1943 and 1944 in different places. Kind of strange. Also one morning a few months ago, I was telling my wife I guess I wasn't ever going to find a silver quarter and that evening found my first one and now have a total of 3, the last one was in the Bahamas. Happy hunting.

We have all had that feeling before. I have not found a silver coin in months. Out this morning and bingo, found a 1935 "Walker". VDI 93 just like they are suppose to. 3" down
Never know when silver coins are going to show up. I would venture to say most of us find something very nice every month or so. Love my AT Pro, but also owne a minelab CTX 3030.

Keep an eye out for 1944 nickels that are missing the "P" mint mark. They are an interesting counterfit coin that was circulating back in the day.
