Battled high temps of 45 degrees and 25 & 30 mph wind gusts. Waist-high grass and brush .... it was tough hunting. I am very grateful that I was able to find anything. The Sunray X-8 is a brush-hog .... I love it. Now I understand why they call it the "Stealth" coil ... it's perfect for brushy areas. HH and enjoy the photos ..

Nice digs there Dave.:clapping: That picture of the chimney looks familiar. Is that a spot you detected before? HH.

Yes, but I was'nt nearly as ambitious the first time I was there.

Widebody ... I use a Canon Powershot A490. I think they are around $80. They really do take great close-up photos. Only downside is that when the zoom lens pops out, it will take dust back inside with it. The camera was not intended for what I use it for. Eventually the zoom lens will sieze-up and the camera will be useless. And I will have to buy my wife another one, this is our 2nd one already. I need to find a camera with an internal zoom lens.

[size=large]thanks for the info McDave.

Good results, given the conditions :beers: looks like a great site, maybe better in the spring.

Interesting site Dave. Looks like it would be worth hitting again in the spring when the growth is matted down.
