Wanted, used backup metal detector

Silicon John

New member
Am looking for a backup metal detector for my next gold hunting trip to Ganes Creek, Alaska. Understand that a Whites MXT is a good machine but would consider others. I have a Minelab 3000 so price is important. With any kind of luck I will not use this backup machine at all. Welcome all advice and suggestions.

An MXT or the old standby, the Gold Bug II would be a good choice for a backup machine. I am going to be using a MXT this year at Ganes cr with a GB II as a backup. 33oz Steve
