General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Looking for any of the older 1980"s Teknetics / Bounty Hunters. Any big Buds, Mark I , III , Condor , etc. OR early Tesoro Silver, Royal, Golden Sabres, Bandido etc. I ain't rich but would sure cherish one of these older detectors to get out with my grandson who is facinated by the idea.. I'm to old for the new detectors....to complicated. God bless, Papa Phil

I have a working Tesoro Sabre II, it works good and is light for an older Tesoro.
It has a new battery holder, i got from tesoro but they didn't have the battery cover which is missing. Should be easy to make one.

I have a pretty nice Teknetics 8500/B Hip mount in pretty good condition and works perfect. (Its a factory hip-mount system, not converted)

Pretty good condition means its needs ONE battery pack end clip/tab replaced (I have a complete set of NEW replacement battery clips for replacements that will go with the detector) For now I have a tiny piece of curved foil cut to fit for the one bad battery tab.

And the hip and shoulder straps are not OEM!


I have two spare hip-mount D-rings with the stays. (NEW)
I have a spare headphone jack. (NEW)
I have a spare on-board battery charger jack (NEW)
I have a spare mode button. (used)

Hi Mark. I'm pretty flush now with the detectors. The only one I am still wanting is something with a surface blanker. Preferably the bud or tesoro. Thanks anyways. Phil
