Want to see a pretty star sapphire ring?...

Found this 14K white gold star sapphire... last summer at water's edge...not deep ..about 5 ".. good , solid, focused low tone.

Oh, boy! I was sure lucky to find this one!

tested +diamond on each side.

I've seen some pink star sapphires that friends have found..they are beautiful!

I'm a retired Registered Nurse, and Elementary School music teacher so I have lots of time to beach hunt, but ....

At my age, I'm in this hobby for daily exercise and meeting nice people ...if perchance I stumble on a ring or coin.all the better,and I am willing to share my good fortune with fellow detectorists.,,the beaches here are loaded with gold and silver...just got to spend the time lookin'
