Want info on Whites IDX Pro

Anyone out there used the IDX Pro. Is it good for new and old coin shooting? Would $250 for a mint used one be a good price?

Thanks!
Bryan

I have an IDX classic sl for sale and yes $250 is a very good price in my opinion. Its a very good turn on and go metal detector for any coin hunting.

I had a IDX Pro for over two years and yes it is a good detector. Very easy to use and many coils are available. $250 for a mint condition seems like a fair price. For your information, White's don't make them anymore, but I won't let that stop me from buying one.

Idx Pro is the machine I use right now!As said by others it is a good machine and user friendly. But a few tips, turn your disc two clicks below the preset ring mark, this will help finding more nickels and gold rings. On old nickles the display will sometimes be to the left or right of nickel mark, while the new coins are right on.And In my area we have alot of soccer fields and a 100 paso coin looks like a zinc penny! So dig all targets that you have a good signal.Best of luck detecting!
