Wanna Bet?

Let's get some opinions:

A. Will the new Minelab be based on the GPZ 1000 frame and sell for $999.00?

B. Or will it be based on the CTX frame and sell for $4599.00?

C. Or will it be a whole new deal?

I'm betting on A (but I'm not betting much).

I'm guessing it will be based on the last intro detector they released.

Intro detector? Like entry level? Go Find-esque?

Don't know what to expect concerning features but it should come in at less than a grand to compete with the new Garrett.

I think most of your prices are way too high.

To compete with the Deus, it's got to be in the same (or lower) price range....I'll guess $900.00

Since the Gold Monster platform has proven to be functional/successful, that would be a reasonable guess as to what it'd look like.
(But not blue.)

I'd think in terms of a cross between (and a replacement for) the X-terra/eTrac....with a few new tricks up it's sleeve.

All a wild guess, of course.

I will be interested to see if this new machine will be able to tap into the existing set of coils currently made specifically for the ctx. That may breathe new life into the 6", 17" and the new coiltek coil.

I just got a 17" and tried it out. You may have to revive me !!
