could you have bought the display model for less? ive done that for other things
If youre ok with a display model (here they are behind a locked case nowadays) talk to a REAL manager as opposed to the manager du jour they might go for it

Im not knowledgeable about cameras but i would just advise research prior to buying anything from walmart as they sometimes carry models that manufacturers only make specifically for walmart hence you get walmart quality. ... i have a no name tv from walmart that turns off and on whenever it wants too and its been that way from day one..

you couldnt return it? over here they are pretty good about taking items back......especially if you have a receipt
as far as the other stuff, ivce never experienced that not meaning to say it does not happen.......Costco does it.....same brands model number is only a costco model number..no where else
