Wallaby DD VS Platypus DD

The Wallaby covers more area and is probably deeper but to the extreme of paying an extra $100.00?

I need a DD coil for my SD2000 mod. for creeks and humid, somtimes thick underbrush so a smaller coil might have an advantage in these situations. I really wanted the WallabyDD but with all the good reviews of the cheaper platypus I just don't know which to get while on my tight budget. I already have the big UFO mono.

Well I can't answer that, I haven't got a chance to try a Wallaby yet, But Shep hunts with one and he likes his. I just know what I'm doing when it comes tothe Platypus, and it is waterproof. I always say the proof is in the pudding. And that coil has more thanproved its self. Grubstake
