Got up early Saturday Morning before the beach crowd even got there and started gridding an area of the beach, started getting signals pretty regular so I just stayed right there for the first hour- thats when I snagged the 10k white gold band with ice, and the silver ring. Then low tide hit and I started walking the water line - thats when I got the signal for the thin 1 gram ladies ring with a "garnet stone?" maybe:shrug:

After that I decided to get in the water, very little action there unless you include the waves crashing on top of my head and knocking me down!!
After drinking a few mouthfuls of water I decided it was time to go.

The next day, Sunday, I went back again - low tide was MIDNIGHT !!!!

Walked MY BUTT OFF !!!!

I dug quarters, nickels, dimes, pulltabs, but no Gold. I decided it was time to leave, I decided to walk the edge of the water until I reach my exit point.
When I got to the area where I already determined I would leave, I got a signal.....a good signal....dug it up....washed it down in the scoop.....I reached in the scoop...A Ring!!....Please be Gold.....Please be Gold.....YES!!! Time to go home!!!! Start to the car....wait a second....that may have been part of a set of rings.....turn the detector back on.....walk back......A signal....a good signal.....dig it up...A Lead weight!!! D a r n!!.....get another signal....a good signal....another lead weight!!!....get another signal......wash it down in the scoop......A Ring!!....Please be gold...Please be gold....YES!!!!

It was a long drive back home, but it would have been a lot longer if I would have just left 10 minutes sooner:detecting:
