Waiting for a diamond

I made this 14 K pendant some years ago = lost wax method from dug gold finds. It's got a CZ in it and I have been waiting to dig a big diamond to put in it. May have a long wait - guess I should not be so cheap and buy one. The letters are for my wife Nancy & myself. Just wanted to show things that can be made with dug silver & gold. Steve in so az
 
just curious, did you cast the setting or solder it on?
