does anyone know 'nuf puter stuff to tell me how to git NORTON out of my pc ?!?!?!?!?!? It has expired over two years ago and i can't get rid of it.I have uninstalled it over half a dozen times and it keeps comin back and poppin up and interferin with everything i do.

I finally updated to 2006 version, but before I did , I spent over two hrs. on two occasions, talking to several accents. Norton has to uninstall to get rid of your problem. They have a watts line, but you must be very patient and be persistant. There is no easy way.

sheewwwwww, talk about a "test".

I hard Norton insteaded. I bought the next version for $50 and it wounldn't even install. I have the same problem thar you have. I deleted it but it still came up. I went into the registry and found 500-600 entries still in the registry. I manually removed them all and no more problems. Some of the newer registry cleaners may get rid of them for you if you don't know how to work the registry. I couldn't beleive all the junk Norton put in the registry. Then they didn't even remove them when I used their unistall program. Very sloopy programming!

I don't know what version you were using, but here's a link:

or this one to go through the above process manually...

If you do a search for a "registry cleaner", you can probably find one for free, or one for trial. Just make sure that you back up your registry first. Just in case it takes out something it shouldn't ...
