W.W.1 cap badge

Thanks. The cap badge came from the ratty front yard of what may be urban gang bangers. I would not go anywhere near those houses in the dark, and it must have been too early for them to be wasted on booze or dope. The young female inside the screen door said go ahead, so I shot through that little yard like the devil was behind me.

That's a nice piece of military paraphernalia! Is that a silver dime also?

Thanks, yes a silver. The last digs had two silver dimes also but one was so badly encrusted with mineralization that it still looks like an under sized penny. That drained down creek is almost useless for coins as they encrust and dissolve like they are siting in a flippin volcanic vent.

That's a neat and fun find. WTG! HH jim tn

Thanks Jim, it my first military badge, ever. I was starting to wonder if I would ever find one ! I thanked the digging G.ods for my not mangling it. I remember scratching my only SLQ and it felt fantastic, but very disappointing at the same time.

Congrats on the hat badge and silver.
