My search audio Eveon with a accepted target has a cut off sound??? My Eagle II SL 90 has a smooth sound??? Can i set something to help this cut off sound on my VX3 Thanks mickfin,

What are your settings at? Without knowing anything I'd guess your recovery delay is low and/or filters are off but that's guessing.

Give as much info as you can. Sensitivity settings? Filter? What is the target? depth? mineralization level? type? Are you running discrimination and if so what? etc...

Well my Recovery Delay Was 30 I Like to run a Fast Recovery, I set it back to 65 stock in HI-Pro it still had a Cut off sound, Thanks Mickfin

The high filters are sharper than the low ones and I like to run my recovery up around 90 for a nice rounded sound in fairly clean ground. I will go to 50 in the trash but no less. With sharp audio, it gets harder for me to tell the difference between deep iron and a deep coin. I might suggest 5Hz Band Pass filter and at least 75 recovery and see how that sounds Mick.

Thanks Larry N earthmansurfer, The VX3 has 2 filters 5 and 12 So you think the Recovery is the problem of the Cut off sound??? e/m/s I have my sens sen i bit Hi
Larry will a slow recovery speed go deeper?? Thanks All, mickfin

I can't say that a slower recovery really goes deeper, but it sure helps me recognize a deep coin better. All I can say is give it a try and see if you like the sound. As Rob and I have said all along, try different settings and see what works best for YOU. Don't rely on what others are doing because their ground and hunting styles are different than yours.

Thanks Larry, Mic
