Hi all sold my Gold Bug Pro. Going to buy a Whites in about Two weeks cant wait even if it's cold outside. I have read about everything i can on the VX3--V3i on the forum. Plus You Tube video's. I will have the rest of the money from my sell of the Gold Bug Pro in about 2 weeks to buy the VX3. Now here is the problem if i wait One more month i can buy the V3i. But knowing me i will want to buy the VX3 Now Like a Little Kid. I know the coils are different plus few more programs. So do you thing i should RE-strain myself and wait 1 more month or go ahead on the VX3. I guess i would like to ask the pros on here who use them know the difference's in the field. Like i bought the V3i but after using it i could have done the same thing with the VX3 saved some money or from the V3 user's who say now i wish i would have bought a V3i. Anyway i think its the Best Machine out their, Whites always does a good job. Thanks for any and all replies.

i have the vx3 and im finding it pretty easy to use. only had it a couple weeks and found 2 silver coins. i actually bought it because i love whites machines and also like simple things. im finding coins at 7in depths regularly...thats with the 6x10... found my first ever barber quarter,1893 ...most of the guys that use the v3i love it...i came from mxt and t2se and g2...i just wanted some of the options,color screen,3 frequencies,etc..it doesnt matter which you buy, you WILL like it.
When I got my new detector I was up in the air on which one to buy . I got the V3i the one thing I look at was after a years or two if I had the VX3 once I learn the detertor and wanted it to do more then I would have to by the V3i So if it was me I would hold out one more month and go for the V3i . You will love the detector which ever one you get. They are also detectors.

The way I look at it is the V3i will do everything the VX3 will but the VX3 will not do all the V3i will so no contest in my mind!!
