Lets say this detector came stock with no meter and single tone only....How would it compare with the 5900 Di Pro Sl CB version.....Your thoughts on ( performance ) only.....

Boy that is apples and oranges. It has a meter and multitones so there is no comparison. Someone else can handle this. :surrender:

If i take my VX3 and set it to one tone than chop its meter off than i have a paper weight? Because at that point i have no controls. Am i wrong? I don't understand? the question don't make since. I've never owned a 5900 Di Pro SI CB version and don't want one, but for those that do i hope someone can step up and answer the question. GL HH

So really , you want to know the performance comparison of the VX3 with single tone and no meter? Well you could set it to all metal mixed mode and put a bag over it and swing away .....now if you have a 5900 DI PRO you could see for your self how it compares. If your looking for a detector with one tone and no meter i don't think you want a VX3! Maybe a Fisher 1270? i don't know...HH
