The V3i And the VX3 has the same Microproseser, Is it just me or dose the VX3 go Deeper cozz it has 1/2 the Bells N Wistles and can it do what a Detector is post to do??? I used to have a V3i but just only have the VX3 now, Can someone who has both do a comparison air teat??
Thanks mickfin,

They are the same detector Mick, you just can't get to all of the features that the V3i has. The VX3 goes just as deep if the V3i is set up like the VX3. The V3i might have a slight depth advantage because the VX3 runs in Correlate mode, three frequency. You can go to single frequency for maximum depth though.

Thanks Larry, Mic

Reminds me of my Silver Eagle of 20 yrs ago. It is a stripped down Spectrum XLT. Same electronic hardware, just alot less of the advanced programming. But if I had to do it over again. I would have paid the extra for the Spectrum. When White's offers a stripped down model, they do strip out some pretty important stuff.
