VX3 "common" program???

The VX3 has a "common" program in the program restore area, but it doesn't show up in the regular 8 programs on the livebar, and i can't seem to find it in the owners manual. Just wondering if someone can enlightening me?.... Rob? Thanks.
 
First let me state that I have never held a VX3. Your detector has 8 programs and common isn't one of the 8. So that is my guess why it isn't in the live controls.

The V3i and Vx3 have the same guts (electronics). If you had a V3i user interface you could access all the V3i features. My humble guess, the common you see is just left over from the V3i features.
 
Thanks Rob.. I kinda thought it might have something to do with electronics of the V3I "overlapping", if i'm saying that right, into the VX3 program, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks again.
