vx3 an finding gold rings question

ive been using my dfx, for finding gold rings, mostly on practice fields, baseball, parks etc. can you all, { yes im from texas] tell me if the vx3 has that certain ability, that i find that the dfx has, to id gold or is it even better?

The V series has all of the ability (plus more) to find gold, especially the small gold, that the DFX has. If you use the DC Phase feature of the DFX, you will miss that but other than that, the V is a much better machine of the two. If you had asked me if you would find more rings with a VX3, I would have to answer probably not. For gold hunting I would recommend the V3i which has many more advanced features that would help you, one example is you would gain the polar plot screen which is a good substitute for the DC Phase on the DFX. The DFX is a great gold jewelry finding machine and upgrading might not get you more gold, but the V series sure has some nice features that you would enjoy using. The hi-res color screen is one of them....
