Here is the "manual".

Can't say for sure, but from the look of the illustrations and a few mistakes in the the wording I suspect this is Chinese all the way.
Don't quote me on that, though.

mistakes in the wording? Would you care to elaborate?

Eh, Kellyco's own PP. But $179? For that price who would even want to test it just to see if did work?

 Well i own a detectopro pistol probe @ $169.99 that i don't even like, but keep it just in case i need it. and i think detectopro is a quality company. I wouldn't pay $179.99 for something that isn't backed by a major detecting company, hence the asking, "does anybody know anything about it? You said kellyco owns PP. Do you mean it is created by or imported by kellyco?

Just received the Vulcan with my Safari. This is my first pinpointer I have ever used.Works fine. If you are right on top of target it gives a total hum. If you are off to the side it beeps until you are right on it.. So far I really like it.. Will keep using and see if it continues to be good

Its basically the Automax replacement, which KC used as its flagship PP for many years. You can bet that if you call asking which PP u should buy they will direct you to the Vulcan. Even says in the ad, KC's signature Orange?

.

I assume the Vulcan 360 pin-pointer is a VLF unit, but exactly what frequency is it ?
