It seems a shame to let this go to waste.
This changed the frequency of the incoming tone in a pair of headphones.
The machine must have positive pulses.
Enjoy.

Thought you would never give up the schematic, spent countless hours looking for designs and way to do what you did without a battery.
Too bad I sold the pair you made me long ago, almost had a pair again 1 1/2 years ago.....promises, promises, seller faded away.
Might make for a good next project.
I still say the all Ratphones were a great products!!

Hope your doing well in the music biz. You got some great talent!
 
that was sent to me by the owner to verify he actually had the VTR's
 
Keep in mind, this schematic is an improved version and a little different than the one produced. The improved one has a better bypass.
I'll look for the original but this is a better.
