Hi all,
I hope someone can help,I was out today and had a successful time but when I unplugged the headphones and after turning the volume back up to 30,I had no sounds I even tried a major reset but still no good, works fine with the headphones back in,but no good unplugged.........HELP

Something may have stuck when you removed your headphones. Shoot a little lubricant in the hole then run the headphone plug back and forth a few times it may help. Contact cleaner if you have any. Let us know. Good luck.

The connector may have broke inside too. Lots of stress on that connector. I have seen it before. Minelab will fix it.

Thanks for the help all, managed to get it sorted,If anyone else has this problem here is the remedy, remove 5 screws holding the two handle halves together, this will expose the micro switch that the headphone jack activates, the switch can be removed and the contacts cleaned in my case there was a small collection of dust inside,I think this is due to the jack point being open to the elements.........hope this helps if anyone else has the same problem

thats good to know, thanks for the tip. i didnt know there was a switch in there.
