Slipped out for a few this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised with the finds coming out! The us belt plate still has leather under the tangs, the dodge good luck token a Chinese coin 1903 indian and a 1897 barber quarter. All finds were on a site with permission from the owner. The old store burnt in the 30's so the iron was intense the belt plate was only 8 inches deep and read like a really quite indian so there was only a small window thru the iron the nails stains on the face is all the proof you need to see!!

What a day! Just curious, what does that buckle read as when scanned out of the ground?

Really nice buckle!!!!

Dr tones the belt plate still reads 12 32 to 12 37 out of the ground which surprised me!! I have found 6 of these and none were found in a battle or militia site probably just drops from civil war vets. I enjoy watching your vids and your theme song rocks if your a ctx junkie like me!! Are you messing with the sea setting I have been experimenting with it quite a bit and have pretty good results but end up digging some iron. The finds just seem to roll out in places I have pounded in the past and recently.

Indian, Barber, Chinese coin, token and CW Relic.... can't beat a hunt that produces that assortment of finds! Nicely done. The leather remaining on the plate is amazing. I've not found one of those yet.... but you give me hope! Congrats! HH Randy
