In 5 hours, I dug about 120 coins, 2 small pcs of gold jewelry ?. These targets all came out of dry sand. I must say that I dug fewer pull tabs than usual but I was fooled a couple of times
but some 15"+ rusted bottle caps. My wife has had some health issues the last 6-7 months, (resolved now) and there hasn't been a lot of time but I hope to get back on the forum here more and hopefully
post some videos. Thanks and best to all Richard.

BTW, the $100 turned out to be counterfeit, found with one corner sticking up out of the sand. Looked good till the clerk hit it with one of those pens..

Counterfeit? Looks pretty darn good from here. That's a bummer. Nice batch of coins and nice hit on those nuts. :clapping: HH jim tn

Mike, Panama City Beach... 2/3 of the beach was gone with a 2'-4' drop right into the water at high tide... The hurricane last October did a number on the beaches there and they haven't pumped the sand back.. Thanks Richard

Glad to hear your wife is doing ok now Richard.------That $100 bill will at least be a nice souvenir!:)-----Del

Richard, that hundred is one of those finds that it would be fun to know its story. HH jim tn

Nice haul Richard. Which beach did you go to? Some time I will tell you about a ring I found at the beach a couple months ago with the Nox.

That’s is great going indeed.... awesome :)

Nice !!

Good report Richard!!

Glad your wife is better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you swing any wet sand? I have a feeling the Octagon may just handle wet especially gulf Florida wet sand with some tweaking.

Keith

Truthfully, I was so inexperienced with it, I just tried regular ground balancing and it didn't work... Stopped and enjoyed the dry sand. BTW, got me a nickel program.. Thanks Richard
