This CW area has been worked since the late 60's and doesn't give up a lot of good targets but the Vista X was able to bring a few good keepers to light.
The block I button is listed as a Tice CS1244A1 from the "Western Theatre" It had a tin back but had rusted out all but the shank.
The IH penny is a 1861 or 60. Other odds and end... wheel from old child's toy, flat button, round ball, etc.
I set the X up normally with the primary discrimination at the preset. When you hit a non-ferrous target, you know it !!! The audio is very smooth and well defined. Part of the area hunted was where an old house had stood and it worked thru the iron exceptionally well..Separation and depth is great. A deep, soft sounding high tone will get your adrenalin flowing..
