Vista warrior vs Nokta relic?

I don't think I understand the topic... Both are great. Both would serve you well. Warrior is deeper.

If you could be more specific I could be as well.

I apologize , needed info between the two best for cw relic hunting , they both seem to have good reviews, kinda intrigued about the vistas but still open minded on both , thanks

I would get the Vista. I had the Vista 1000rg and it ran nice. I pulled an Indian Head at 9" with an iron hit right beside of it. You only get iron disc though. The Relic in heavy iron you get constant high tones and is noisy. I should have gave it more time. I would like to have a Vista again.

I had problems with the Relic and CoRe on the sites I was hunting - They are great machines, but, the sites I was hunting were just heavily loaded with larger pieces of iron. From testing I noticed that if a target is big enough to cause overload (which the Fors series is extremely sensitive to) the speed of the machines means nothing, and everything in a fairly substantial radius was being masked.. sweeping from any direction.

I ended up selling both of them fairly quickly. The hope for the Relic to me was the concentric coil off of the Fors Gold+, but, ended up giving up the search for one as no one stocked them, and the big dealer in Florida didn't know they existed.

If larger iron isn't an issue where you hunt you should be fine with the Relic, it is a great detector all around, just wasn't great for me or my sites. Also, this is just my own experience with the Relic, I didn't enjoy that aspect of it. I didn't like other things as well, but the others were more about me being used to single tone Tesoros probably. Felt like too much of the Relic was guess work as far as the tones went.

Thanks Rick and Alan , I think the vista will be under the tree at Christmas , most of the sites are plowed fields and the brush, vista should be able to find some relics, thanks again HHHank
