Visiting the Dentist !

Hi everyone, going to the dentist isn't always bad . I have been working a grassy yard area and sidewalk median at a now closed dentist practice in downtown Sweetwater, Tx.. Where I work fulltime is about 50 yards from the dentist office and so I go over on my lunch breaks and do some detecting. I have found a little of everything there and has been fun. Kinda neat to be able to go relic and coin hunting right downtown ! I only found 3 silver Rosies and a few wheat cents. The rest is clad. Virtually all of this was found using the Golden uMax, the Vaquero had a small role also. I hope the pic is ok and God Bless all !

You done GOOD!! What is the thing that looks like a screwdriver handle? Could it be a medieval dental torture tool?

Hi Joe, well the little handle thing is threaded on the inside so that you could most likely change to the particular tool required at that moment. I think it was part of a screwdriver tool kit or something like that. It is dated 1907. I'm sure it wasn't any type of dental instrument but you never know haha ! Ok Joe thanks for asking and feel free to inquire anytime my friend. God Bless ya.

Hi J., I am not sure what it is, but definitely not a belt buckle. It is copper and is pretty thin. Your guess is as good as mine. If I find out I'll let you know J.. CU later and thanks for looking.
