Visited our good friends the other night,watched a CD of that old HEE HAW country music show.Brought back some great memories........

Back when it was on,I always had the secret fantasy dream of being on that show,singing and playing my old six string.Quite a feeling,being able to entertain folks-When you can make folks feel good by what they hear,-and by what they SEE,either in instrument playing,artistry,sculpture,or the acting arts-these are Definitely good gifts from God,amen......It is really a great feeling,to be able to share the excitement they experience,when they are told this song is being recorded,or won a contest.It is a happy and memorable occasion,doesn't matter how far you may or may not go,it is one of them moments in life that brings real joy to a lot of people,amen.......
 
Man! I still laugh thinking about some of those skits I saw on HeeHaw 30+ yrs ago....Junior Samples laying out in a haystack with one of the Heehaw girls and she ups and says,."Junior, whisper something soft and sweet in my ear"......

Junior, grinning like a possum into the camera says:: ."Bananer puddin'"....:rofl:
