Visited a new park today

I viisited a new park today across the street from a local high school.
It was about 40 degrees out this morning, but with the wind it was really cold.
Still, I kept hitting quarters and dimes all over the place. I didn't see much by way
of previous dectionists. Usually I find lots of holes many not covered. This was
different. I could see where someone had been there but didn't look like many
people had been MDing. I only spent a bout 3 1/2 hours before the cold got to me.
Picked up $4.50 in clad. I suppose I can go back tomorrow if the weather is better.
Didn't find any rings though or any other interesting things. My MXT seems to have
developed a love affair with nickels. Picked up four of them right away. I see that
when I pass my coil over the target and it IDs at 18 each way I swing the coil, its always
a nickel. If it fluctuates 18-16-20-18, then its junk. At least thats been my exprience.
Can't believe more people have not his this park.

'Usually I find lots of holes many not covered.' Too bad about that, holes can bring heat. The squirrels have been really digging up the ground this year. You should see my lawn. If you don't know better it looks like shallow coin recovery holes. It can make you nervous hunting with all the animal holes, it would be easy to get blamed.

I've found many nickels that do that 16 to 20 bounce in my ground. Good luck, Rob
