cant get close enough for a better picture....my mission on the next trip is to photograph on in the open and closer to the camera

where i was is in the country and deer still roam freely

If you feed them some corn, they will learn to come up very close to you, and will turn into beggars too! Kelley (Texas) :).

around there they eat up the homeowners bushes!!! they arent hungry...and they are FAST....OJM described the deer i saw perfectly .....one second there , next second magically disappears

and tear your garden up...can be very destructive. We have found that the feral hog is even more destructive than the deer, and they will tear down your fence to get to the garden plants. Kelley (Texas) :)

i guess we are lucky of no feral hogs around here but the cute little deers eat up the neigborhood landscape to the point that i now see nurseries selling "deer resistant" plants....
