Hi everyone, I am really enjoying all of the wonderful stories on this forum. I was wondering if anyone could help me? I am trying to find a spot near Springfield, Va to go detecting. So far, no luck! Thanks for all your help!

Jake

Never been in your neck of the woods but I'd suggest
: parks, soccer fields (around side lines where people sit),Blechers at ball parks or schools, schools (find out where high school kids hang out...like a smoking area or picnic table areas).Find a nice small beach area that has a high volume of folk's. Vacant lots that had buildings demolished. Old farm houses.

Remember to ask permission where needed.

Cheers!

Enough places to get you started! As Charles Garret says, the places to detect are truly limitless...
