This rookie needs help.I recently found out a relative of mine lives on a creek in the gold belt of Va.I checked documentation on this creek and it has a record of producing good gold. There are several old gold mimes within 3 or 4 miles of this creek and have not been mined since the civil war at which time the mines were abandoned.The state of Va has recorded a nugget of 9 lbs from this creek along with several weighing an oz.This is all privet pro pity and the creek has not been worked.Now to get to what i need to know.AS i stated i have never have found the first speck of gold,but this sounds like a good place to start. I have a high banker i plan to use and I also have a mine lab 3000. I need to know if you can use my mine lab to good advantage in an area like Va.By the way this creek runs year round. any suggestions would be greatly. ROOKIE FROM LOUISIANA
