Got myself some worthless coins, a few empty war cartridges, and a 1830 silver (tested) Virgin Mary charm with writing in French, in the middle of the woods. Two minutes after finding it, the sky got dark, thunder rumbled overhead, and I just made it back in time to my truck before the downpour.
I've found many alluminum charms in the same area, mostly dropped by soldiers in WWI. There is a temple about 1 km away from where I found it. It was exactly one metre from a tight path with alot of branches sticking out. It probably got caught and ripped away by a branch. Next time I'm in the area, I'll hunt all around that same area. Maybe I might find the chain.
