Hit a new permission and have maybe covered 5% and found these goodies today... Both walking liberties are 1941 and the one is in amazing shape

Nice job usually when I start finding lots of wheats and silver dimes and a quarter in the mix I know a silver half is there 90% of the time I’m right!

Found 8 silver dimes and 2 halves so far... I've dug probably 5$ in clad just digging the dime/quarter signals... Once I get done I'm going back over it and digging the nickel/wheatie signals... Here is a better pic of the halves

Sweet! With 95% left to hunt you should be able to get a ton of silver out of this new place, sounds like you are going to need some help 81, I've just put new batteries in my detector?

Went back for an hour tonight and found a 1943 walking half with a 1951 quarter sitting right on top of it and 3 more Merc dimes... This place is a silver honey hole

When you have a super hot place to hunt like this metal detecting is fantastic! I remember a few years ago we found a place similar to what you have going here 81 and the excitement between hunting trips was just about as exciting as the actual metal detecting.
