Virgin ground & Xterra 70 =

A good 2 hours of detecting! Found an old farmhouse that the farmer sold out and they are turning it into a subdivision. The house was still standing but most of the yard area was scraped off for the black dirt. In the small area I detected, I found 3 Barber Dimes, 2 mercs, 1 rosie, 1 Indian and 5 wheats an old watch case and s sterling necklace. I think the newest thing is the necklace. Felt good for a change not digging any clad or zincs :) The 70 performed flawless as I ran in all metal with a sens of 24.

Good job Larry, got any more spots like that? Randy and I found a couple oldies yesterday.
When was the last time you found that much good silver in one spot?
Bill

Always nice to find a silver coin, and you came through with 6 of them! Outstanding!! I'd go back and hunt that area again tomorrow. Sounds like it won't be available much longer. Great finds. Congrats!!! HH Randy

I hope you can still get onto the site and work it a little more, and if so all the best to you! You just have to love seeing old silver! :clapping:
