Vintage search coils --- need info on what they fit

I bought a 12-inch coil at a garage sale for cheap because no one knew what it was. It's labeled Garrett Deepseeker 5.5. I thought it might fit my Garrett GTAx 550 but found the connection is different. My GTAx has five holes in a partial circle around the outside of the connector. The Deepseeker has four holes on the outside with a a fifth hole in the middle.

I also have a 10.5 inch Hot Head coil (made by Dayton Electronics in Delphos, Ohio) that came with my used Garrett GTAx. I assumed it fit the GTAx I was buying and didn't check the connection. Later I found it has the same connection as the Deepseeker described above.

Next mystery: The Deepseeker and Hot Head connectors fit an old White 5000/D I own. I don't know if they work with the White because I'm afraid to try them until I know more details. But the connections sure do fit.

Anyone know what I have? Is it possible the Deepseeker and Hot Head coils were made for Whites at that time? Or did older Garretts and older Whites share the same connector?

I'd love to find a detector club nearby so I could share information with the members. I'm in Wooster, Ohio, about 60 miles south of Cleveland.

Your 12 inch coil is for the 5.5 khz 4 through 7 Master Hunter ADS and Freedom Coin Commander models. The Hothead coil is for either the ADS 5.5 khz models or the GTA , Freedom CDC's and Freedom Plus models. Garrett used the same 5 pin configuration for the 5.5 Deepseeker coils and original Crossfire coils. Some of the older Whites models used the same 5 pin connector as the ADS and original Crossfire coils, I've used them on Garrett coils, but your 12 inch coil is for the 5.5 khz Garrets, the Hothead is either a 5.5 or 7.0 khz and the Whites is 6.592 khz. It's possible the 7 khz coils might work on your old Whites, but I wouldn't try them on it as it could damage your detector.

The 12'' garrett deepseeker 5.5 might fit my garreett Master Hunter CX111
