Vintage Metallascopes???

Hi there - my boyfriend is South African and has just found a 1937 Fisher Radioscope(?) Model No 96 with instruction manual manufactured by Goldak (I think) it has a manual and seems to be in reasonable condition. It also says M Scope.

Can anyone tell me anything at all about it. I'd be really grateful for any comments. It seems like a fairly early version.

I hope I'm not wasting your time but was curious.

Best regards

Stephderm
