Vintage log home...........

Kelley (Texas)

New member
This picture was taken in Anderson, Texas a couple of weeks ago. It was located in a small park along with a few other old buildings, which makes me suspect that it had been moved to the site and reconstructed. I thought it was a neat old log house. Kelley (Texas) :)

It is a "neat old house", Kelley. Makes me want to go find the original location, pull out my detector and start swinging. Thanks.

I love it!

My wife and I rented an 1850's log cabin down in Frediksburg (? spelling)Texas. It was updated with electricity and indoor plumbing but other than that it was original. I did not take my metal detector but if we do it again I will.

Just think... that log cabin was someones "Home Sweet Home." Makes you wonder about all who lived there over the years. Did the daughter grow up to marry a state Senator? Did the boy become a bank robber, or, other well respected citizen? :)
