Videos vs. pictures of finds

Which do you perfer to see. I'd rather see pictures. Having to watch videos to see what was found bores me (well at least most of the time). I've seen a few that were interesting. I guess I don't have the patience. I want to see the product NOW lol.

Hi DDL! Good question  I'd rather see pics. It seems many like to add fluff (just to have a longer video), and music to their videos (which is great if that's what they like, and they don't need my OK, and there is a mute button ). And now that I'm connecting to the www via an air card, my usage is capped, and I'd much rather use it viewing hundreds of pics as opposed to a few videos (which is what I do). I seldom watch videos any more.

I personally like the videos especially the one of the jewelry box found in ohio with all the coins inside.

I like the videos. Especially when the audio from E-Tracs are included.

My wife thinks I'm crazy watching the Youtubes of digs... lol...

Me too.............can someone forward a link of the jewelery box video?

:usaflag:I like to tell my wife that I'm watching "metal detecting porno's" again....she thinks it's funny.

I like both pictures and video....but video is a little better because it kind of validates the actual find. While with a photo, a person could put anything down and say they found it. But how do you really know?

I have found plenty of good stuff...but only made my first video the weekend before last....when I found my first Franklin Half.

I'm sure everyone has seen it already....but enjoy again !

I prefer the pictures. I don't have time to download videos on my dialup internet connection at home and I don't have time to watch the videos at work.

When I share my finds I create a mixture of both videos and pictures.

I enjoy both videos and pictures of peoples finds, however seeing a nice high def picture of the finds is always a pleasure.

I prefer pictures, a lot of times I don't take the time to watch the videos.

Video finds being more validating than pictures? Maybe so, but who cares? Not many would be loser enough to post bogus finds.
