To those that post videos of your detecting adventures on you tube, what brand videocam are you using and how long does it take to upload your videos to the tube. Also, what settings and set up are you using........NGE

Modal z18 cheap and has macro for close ups fits into cell phone case for your belt camera and video 1080 hd plus into computer easy

I just use my iphone - I am already carrying it with me (so one less extra piece of equipment to worry about), it films in HD and the close-ups are nice and clear.

Uploading to youtube seems to varry depending on I don't know what. Usually it only takes a couple minutes per upload.

I saw Zi8's selling for over 400.00. So I found a new one (Zi6) in the box, online for 170.00 and bought it. Now hopefully, I can upload whatever I do, quicker.

I have two Zi6 and they do a nice job and love the macro. Easy to use and carry. Iphone when I forget the Z. For mounting to the metal detector I use the GoPro. Very nice to use and easy to mount. All downloads are easy, and editing is up to you. Uploading to Youtube depends mostly on your upload speed and how busy the tower is. It can take 30 minutes for a short video or I have seen it at home on a slower connection take most the night.

Zi6 though is just perfect for what you are going to be doing. Keep it in a soft bag and don't let the viewing screen get scratched up. Makes it hard to see what you are shooting.
