I got my new pinpointer yesterday in the mail. I have to say I am impressed! Very high quality build construction. I love how it turns on and off. The range is perfect for pinpointing. Just wanted everyone to know there are other pinpointers out there :)

Yep.you got a good one........

I also want to make it clear that I am in no way putting down any other brands. If I had the cash I would own one of each from all the good reviews on them all :) I just wanted to make know that this unit seems very solid. :super:

I am glad you like your new vibraprobe Bucksport. I stumbled onto them about a year ago. My dad owns the vibraquatic as well as my brother. I own the 580 and the vibratetector 730. Can still say I am impressed by the 580 a year later. Only had the vibratector 730 for 4 months now. I will get a good feel for it when it warms up and I can search some water areas I am with you if money was easy to come by I might own more. I still want to buy the vibraquatic some day. The 580 is nice. On shallow targets I can usually dig a hole by using a screwdriver to make a hole the size of an aerator hole, stick the 580 down in the hole, find out where the target is in the hole and pluck the object right out. Don't even have to use a digger unless it is a really deep target. Perfect companion to hunt with my Compadre. Post again a year later or sooner and let us know what you think. It is good others know there are more pinpointers out there.

Here is my older Vibra-Probe 560.. When it worked.. It was nice, but between it and the DFX they just couldn't play nice with each other, way too much falsing on the DFX when the probe was on.
Anywho.. I took a hacksaw to my Vibra-Probe to see what was wrong with it after returning it to the factory for a failed repair... I wasn't too impressed.

Good video. Good input as well. The improvements made to the 580 I am sure eliminate this problem. All companies learn from their mistakes.

I understand the depth on the 730 is only a couple of inches. Have you tried it out? I'm thinking about one. I don't believe coins will sink very far in a week or two at a local lake.
