vibra probe switch install

We would like to pass on a small info tidbit for the vibra probe people who use metal detectors like the f75 ltd that the probe interfers with.
The switch mod found here for a push button off on switch is the perfect answer. The added bit i found is after going to radio shack to get a switch one of 7/8 diameter with a light up red button ( we did not wire the light in) comes with a black shroud that works perfect in a plastic pipe cap
We found a 1 1/4 inch white plastic pipe cap will fit the probe perfect no problem with anything and pulls off to replace the battery.
Cap less than a dollar at home depot or lowes.
Good luck

The switch works great. The one I added (push to break) breaks contact when the spring loaded button is pushed, when the button is released then contact is made again but the probe stays off.
