I have a 580 that works great but I left it north so I'm going to replace it with a underwater pin pointer to leave south . All my detecting down here is done with scuba .Thanks for any input.

I dont rate the vibe thingy's that much.

here is a video i did last year.

Would like to hear some reviews on the vibratector730. Been tempted on making a purchase but havent heard of any info other then a youtube video demo.

I pulled the trigger and bought the vibra quatic 2 . At first look I didn't like the look of it ,it's longer and the tip is larger than the 5 30 . I air tested against the 730 they seemed to be pretty even. The true test was diving with it . I can honestly say I'm very happy. Other pin pointers that may have more depth are only water proof to 20' .

scotthowes...Have you had the opportunity to dive with your vibra quatic 2? Are you using it with another detector? How has it performed? How is the buoyancy? What do you like and not like about it? What would you change if you could?

I am very pleased with it . I use it with my EX-CALL 2 The buoyancy can be a pain I've found if I tuck it in my waist belt on my BC it will stay shut off. I would change the mercury switch, to another switch of some sort because it will turn on if you go into a steep dive or when your detecting in a head down position .The depth is about 4" in an air test about the same as the vi-bra probe and 750 vi-bra probe. .All said, I like the 2 best of all 3 .The 580 stays north for diving and dirt digging the 730 vi- bra probe sits on the shelf in FLA. The vi-bra probe seems to be the only one that you can use for diving below 10' . Good luck. Scott
