It pays to get permission to hunt random old houses. Found me three wheaties, one (my oldest) a 1910, and two 1917's, then a 1900 Indian to boot, only my third IHP. I think I'm likin the X-70 so far.

Nice indian . You sure look like you are doing good with it.

WTG Adam!! Looks like you will be doing just fine with the new machine. :clapping:

I wish I could have hunted longer, but the homeowner had to leave and us with him, only hit about 1/3 of the front yard, I wish I wouldn't have taken my time and swept it so thoroughly, I might have picked up a Barber, oh well, live and learn.

You can always go knock again. Assuming you were clean in your recovery, they will likely let you hunt there again.

WTG on the Injun, I got my 2nd and 3rd last week the older being 1895 and my oldest coin to date.

Hee hee, well I would, except that I talked to a guy that was doing some repair work on the house, he said it was a rental property that he owned, and it was no problem if we detected it. As he's leaving, he say's that we should probably go, cause the old lady that is renting the house might be back soon and probably wouldn't like us hunting her yard, we didn't realize the house was occupied by a renter, so technically it was his bad for telling us we could hunt it when it was rented to someone. We were very careful and clean, but I don't think I wanna go back and ask her. I kinda feel like we got away with one there, not very nice of him to let us hunt a rented out house, but I'm still happy that he did ;)
