Finds are from yesterday (Saturday) and a couple hours after work during the week.
2 cent piece (large motto variety) was found in a very old small town city park in MN at a depth of about 8 inches. That shell casing was also found in the same area.
Indian head pennies are 1892,1901,1904. Barber dime is 1901 o.
Nickels are 1939,1940,1941,1941,1943 silver war nickel,1946,1946,
Wheat pennies are back to 1909.

Hey Floodplaindetector,

Not sure if we've met before. I live in Southern WI and have a cabin near Fergus Falls in MN. I've been to Rick's bar in Chaffee and have hunted with him and James. My oldest MN coin came out of a private yard in Ashby. 1858 half. My first and only seated half and the same year that MN became a state. Southern WI was settled 40 50 years before MN and the Dakotas, lots easier to find older stuff here.

That could be the best looking Two Cent I've ever seen !
They are always a heart stoppers for me - because they come in on the same E - Trac target ID numbers as Wheat Cents !

My 2 cent is rougher than a night in jail. Great find.
