Hi All,

Every time I ask a question in the Tesoro forum, the response is lightening speed, but when I ask a question in a different forum page...nothing....I own two metal detectors. One is a Tesoro Silver Sabre uMax and the other is a Whites Quantum 2 in which I paid under $100 Cdn. for it...So I go and ask a question in the Whites forum and there are 190 click's on my question, but no replies.....Maybe I will just hang out here cause I know I will feel accepted...

Welcome . I have frequented and still do on occasion a few of the different forums here . For the most part all have guys who are willing to help out . The thing with the Quantum , I believe . was the fact less White's users owned the quantum and the Quantum 2 .They weren't produced in the numbers that the MXT'S , XLT'S or DFX'S etc.were .
I had read that in knowledgeable hands they were deep and a great performing detector . There used to be a guy here on these forums that was quite knowledgeable on the Quantums. He went by the name Critterhunter . He doesn't seem to be posting lately but I'm sure if you go back and look for him and his posts back far enough you may find the info you need . Possibly you could even Email him . He was always willing to help someone maybe he still is . You can also try the White's forum again and ask for Monte ( he is very knowledgeable on White's detectors and others ).

The problem may be finding people who still own and use a White's Quantum 2.

While you have a lot of Tesoro hunters still using "older" models, I don't find a lot of White's hunters still using their older models.

There are some, yes, but not as many as with Tesoro.

Thats not to say there is anything wrong with older model Whites, there just aren't a lot around still in use based on the posts I see.
 
Tesoro users are just better than the rest. Not that the rest are all that bad. :rofl:

In the Tesoro forum if you own a entry level Compadre you're treated like a king.

You can't say that about some of the other forums.
