Very old coin

This is my strangest find for 2010, I found it in our backyard, and cleaning this yard with metal detectors for 37 plus years one would figure I would have got most very thing. The surprise is my BH QD-2 start sounding off at the 6 inch mark. I figured let's see, up came this coin from China or Japan. I tired to clean it with a mild soap, but it has been the ground to long most of the raised figures have disappeared. I thought I would share this with the board, Happy Holidays, good hunting in 2011 Jim

I think you need to re take those pics way to blurry also try soaking it in water with a little dish soap and then try cleaning it with a dental brush but don't brush to hard!! And when you re take the pics try getting a little light from the sides to illuminate the coin ! Good luck

Looks like these were taken on a scanner. It may be better to use a camera, if you have one. If not, then you may be able to improve the scan by placing a piece of paper behind the coin to help contain and reflect the light back towards the face of it. Nice coin in any case. Would love to find one like that in my own backyard. How cool is that!
